M A I N P L O T *
Forks, Washington has always been a place where things have been simple. Recently, with the influx of vampires, people have failed to notice those that have gone missing. The werewolves can't hurt the Cullen clan. They've not broken their contract, they've not hurt a soul. But it's open season on vampires. With everyone in a whirlwind of vampiric chaos and death tolls in Forks rising, the Volturi still haven't shown their faces to stop the madness.
¤ ¤ ¤
Following a trio in Italy, the Volturi are winded and tired. Their bodies go forever, but their minds, caused by blackness in their tracking and the inability to see the ones being tracked, are growing weary, ready to return home. That is when a sense comes. the smell of a creature closer. He's bleeding, wounded. He's what they're hunting. The fourth to the group, making it a trio that's on the loose, rather than four. His words lead them all to Forks, where the Volturi come armed, ready to kill.
¤ ¤ ¤
They carry no scent. They are close. Two males, a single female, each varying in size, each meek and unwilling to become part of a group. What are they? What could be dangerous enough to distract the Volturi when they were clearly challenged by such scary numbers that have climbed in Forks?
¤ ¤ ¤
This RPG is set during the time of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight novel. But it's in your hands now if you, the player, will simply play out her series plot or deviate from it. Only you can tell ... or can you?
S U B P L O T
The Volturi have their eyes on the main prize that exists in the Cullen family; namely, Edward Cullen. With Edward's unique ability for mind reading, the Volturi have their sights set on him. They percieve him to be one of the weakest links in the Cullen family and are looking to exploit any weaknesses he may possess.
¤ ¤ ¤
Knowing that Edward has not yet taken a vampire mate, the Volturi send one of their own ranks, a woman capable of blocking any mental abilities another supernatural being can use against her. This makes her the perfect tool against Edward and his family. This woman has had expert amounts of training in her ability, and years to practice with it. She has set justice to many of her kin at the orders of the Volturi and followed them faithfully. Not only is she a defense mechanism, but she is a lethal killing machine. Her goal is to try to take Edward under her wing and convert him to her cause through whatever means possible. The Volturi have made it clear to her that they could care less whether she seduces him or not, and how many casualties will rest in her hands in the process.
¤ ¤ ¤
With this woman loose in Washington, seeking out Edward specifically, Edward's relationship with Bella could become very complicated, very fast.

Meliora, a classic fantasy RPG « Result #2 on Jun 18, 2008, 1:50pm »
. . .There Are Many Paths to Tread. . . In a land governed by royalty and divinity, how will you choose to live? Will you devote your life to your deity, serving them as a priest or priestess? Will you live independently, giving up the protection of the divine? Will you reside within one of the cities of the eight under the watchful eyes of the god you trust? Are you one of the extraordinary who can earn the right to share in the powers of the gods as a mage? There are many choices to be made, for in Meliora, all things are possible.
. . .The Power of the Eight. . .
Long ago there was a battle with the mighty Leviathon that changed Meliora forever. The greatest mages of this time joined their power to destroy the Leviathon, but paid a great price. They perished. Their power was lost, but the land was restored. Years later, individuals from across the land began displaying powers greater than those of the mages that restored Meliora. They became the eight deities of fire, water, earth, air, day, night, time and fate. Since then, some deities have come and gone, but the spirits of nature have chosen others to rise in their places. The Eight are the most powerful beings in Meliora. Your fate is in their hands.
. . . Nothing Lasts Forever. . .
Meliora has prospered for many years, but all good things must come to an end. The Leviathon proved that tragedy can strike when it is least expected. It is only a matter of time before peaceful Meliora is, once again, shaken to the core. Will you be the change you wish to see, or will you step back and watch as others control your destiny? Even the smallest person can change the course of the world. Every soul counts.

Ah, L'Italia; Una terra di bellezza!
The year is 1500 and Italy is just beginning to experience its Renaissance. A time of enlightenment, the Renaissance signifies the rebirth of art, literature, and a different way of thinking. New constructs are spawning each day, complete with vaulted ceilings and high, intricate arches. Not to mention, profound literature and thought-provoking scientific development. Beginning in Tuscany and quickly spreading to the rest of the country, Italy is now in a state of artistic peace.
With this new enlightenment, however, come the threats of years past still lurking in every shadow. Various vampiric races are slowly moving in on the territory, soaking up every new bit of information in hopes of later using it to create their own enhanced nation. Some choose to join in and some choose to fight the unity, saying that once every human is gone there will be no way for the Vampires continued life.
New technology is beginning to dictate the ability to create something to sustain vampiric life without the current human population as we know it. For now, the Elders are keeping it securely under wraps, but who knows how long it will be before the sinister plan is revealed. Who knows, in years to come humans may cease to exist in the wild.
So, where will you stand when the world comes crumbling down?

If you've ever read the Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer, then you might just like this site^.^
The activity of our site is low, but if you join now you'll probably either get a good possition or you'll get a nice cannon character!
The site doesn't have a plot yet, so we're looking for nice, active staff members to help us! Anyone who knows the Twilight Series really well is pretty much able to be a staff member, and anyone else is still welcomed on the site like chocolate is welcomed by young children on Halloween (Sorry for the analysis)
Anyone who hasn't read the Twilight series is welcomed as well but here are your only faults. You can't become staff or have cannon characters (That also goes for characters related to cannon characters). That's okay though! Here is what our site is about. Vampires and werewolves co-existing in our human world. Once you get on the site, It will be explained a bit more.
We are also lacking an Edward Cullen, anyone who wishes to be this vampire hottie must be an intermediate RPer and must know the Twilight series very well^^
THE YEAR IS 2007, and in London, England, it has been three months since the election of the new Prime Minister, Wesley O’Sullivan. Leader of the Conservatives, he has promised England lower taxes, more pensions and no more congestion charges, and all seems to be going well until - on the 22nd June - he is handed an unmarked folder and told to look at it.
Inside is a book entitled Werewolf: Man or Monster? and it is with great scepticism that O’Sullivan reads the first chapter of the book. The documents are based upon one man’s research into the myths and legends of werewolves—or so Wesley assumes—and as he hands the dossier back to his Defence Secretary, he is once again told to look at it, but this time his attention is drawn to the back of the tome.
1. Do not bite humans when they approach you. They are weak, helpless creatures who only want to socialise and make friends. Unless they initiate an attack, do not defend yourself. Smile, talk about the weather and shake their hand.
2. Use cutlery when eating in the presence of humans. They’re fussy about these things and won’t hesitate to stare at you if they see you chewing a chicken drumstick like a dog. Don’t worry about picking the cutlery up; it’s stainless steel (humans are cheap like that) so you won’t get hurt. Just remember to eat with your mouth shut and not to talk when you have food in your mouth.
3. Try not to make animalistic noises. Growling, snarling, whining, yelping and barking are prohibited whilst in the company of people. If you must express your anger or joy, try throwing your arms around and emphasising certain words; that usually makes them smile or, in some cases, frown. If the need arises, mimic their actions - sticking your middle finger up at someone usually makes adolescent humans grin wickedly.
4. Do not translate their names into Wolf Sprache. They will take it as an insult and will generally have no idea what you’re going on about. Bearing this rule in mind, try not to slip and speak in Wolf Sprache around them. They will mistake it for German and get angry, or they will try and communicate with you (if they know German or a foreign language, most usually French).
5. Never, ever jump on them to show enthusiasm. Instead, hug them or push them playfully, but be careful that you don’t end up pushing them into a road or into a hot-headed individual and start a fight. As a general rule, you should restrain yourself around them; acting overly-giddy for more than a week will raise eyebrows and end up with you getting taken to one of their therapists.
6. If you enter a competition with them, try to let them win. Humans are fiercely competitive creatures and if they do not win, they will kick up a storm and blame it on someone: usually you. However, if you believe that they must not win for whatever reason, beat them, but do not rub it in their faces. This will only serve to make them angry and they will often attack you when they are enraged.
7. Humans are pathetic creatures—
The rest of the list has been ripped, and the handwriting itself is scrawled and untidy as if the writer compiled the list whilst in a great hurry. Concerned, O’Sullivan orders the dossier to be given to the Shadow Defence Secretary so that he can take a look at it, and so the folder is handed to Monday De Ciel, the first werewolf to successfully enter human politics.
Despite his attempts to tell the Prime Minister that the book and the list is nothing to worry about, De Ciel starts to panic when O’Sullivan orders a news broadcast to go out on the six o’clock news that very evening. After thousands of years of living with humans unaware of their presence, the werewolves are about to be exposed.
Civilians with military backgrounds are drafted up to become Hunters, and they are told to inform no one about their new jobs. Scholars and history professors are asked to find out as much about werewolves as they can, and all the while, the lycanthropes watch and wait anxiously, making their own plans and preparing for a war that seems inevitable.
Unless, of course, they can shift the blame onto someone else, like an ancestor - Mortimer der Mörder - did in the Middle Ages. However, that resulted in the slaughters of thousands of innocent elderly ladies, and the period was thus known as the Dark Ages and the Witch Trials.
Brand new site, based on the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer.
The endless fight between the vampires, and the werewolves… We still need a plot, so anyone who wants to become a staff member and help with the plot is more than welcome. http://ourtwilight.proboards84.com] OUR TWILIGHT[/url]
Monday, August 29th, 2005 was a sad day for most New Orleans locals. The day the eye of Hurricane Katrina took over the town and the new went wild. They seemed to have a feild day with the unfortunate natural disaster that had to have happened to one of America's finest cities. However the world soon became uninterested and acted like everything was just swell once September rolled around. That wasn't the way things were like at all. Far from it really. School was delayed, all water was tainted, and New Orleans natives had had it up to here. The town had nearly gone crazy. They had to be to stay in such a mess.
Two years since this ordeal homes have been rebuilt, the ones who had lost their minds seemed to have regained a bit of their saneness and the city of New Orleans has come back to being nearly fully healed. WRONG, again. Though most cities through out the county seemed to be looking good right around now not nearly half of the south side was looking livable. It was quite unfortunate but sadly true. However you saw none of this in the news. The media covered stories up about the hurricane completely but the town really needed to face it's problems. Sadly they haven't and the future of New Orleans has been suffering because of this.
Though the South Side of New Orleans consisted of mostly poor, middle class families. None just so happened to have nowhere else to go so they stayed in the rubbish which was now their homes. Water stains spoltched each house on every neighborhood and the children of New Orleans were forced to watch the places they grew up go down hill. This left most of the kids traumatized.
Most of the middle schoolers changed as they stepped foot in Crest Canyon High School. One of the many schools that miraculously made tit through the brutality of Hurricane Katrina. Most of the middle & lower class kids attended the high school but the "in" crowd were the ones with the money. The school is mighty diverse and has been around for century and it truly is astonishing it made it through Katrina's awful wraff.
Once entering it's lush halls that plenty with old school lockers you'll see many different faces. Some which belong to friends, and others bullies. A few stoners here and there, you might even pass by a yuppie. You'll certainly run into one of the many gothics. Stroll by the very *friendly* persons. Wave to the weirdos. It wouldn't be Crest Canyon High if you didn't lawl by the loners. Get down with the grunges. Kick it with the nuts talkers and you'll always have to deal with the drama-queens.
Whatever group suits you, you'll end up finding at Crest Canyon High. Or any high school for that matter. Whatever the case, the school certainly won't change you.
People always end up the way they started out. No one ever changes. They think they do but they don't. If you're the depressed type now that's the way you'll always be. If you're the mindless happy type now, that's the way you'll be when you grow up. You might lose some weight, your face may clear up, get a body tan, breast enlargement, a sex change, it makes no difference. Essentially, from in front, from behind. Whether you're 13 or 50, you will always be the same.
So get ready to get judged and enter the vicous halls of... CREST CANYON HIGH!
BTW, this site is brand new. Which means we're in a big need for members. We're looking for intermediate RPers that can post 425 words a post. If you qualify we'd appreciate it heaps if you joined. LOADS of celebrities are open and we'd love it if you came and joined.
